And what do you do with a hit game? Make a sequel, of course, so it’s no surprise that Zumba Fitness 2 has been hastily announced by Majesco.
The sequel will feature over thirty new music tracks and a variety of new dance styles and arenas. Fresh dance styles will include Belly-dancing, Latin pop and Pasodoble (which you’ll need to rip down your red curtains for).
Dance classes will be offered by Beto, Gina Grant and Tanya Beardsley (no relation we presume), and the Zumba Party mode will support up to four players.
A new progress tracker is also promised to keep an accurate count of calories burned and display trophies and statistics, also grading dance styles.
Zumba Fitness 2 will be out on the Wii before Christmas and then on “another-to-be-announced-platform” in early 2012.
The ZX Spectrum, perhaps? Or platform seven at Temple Meads (the one with the broken chocolate vending machine), maybe. Kinect is also a possibility, of course…
