Three has confirmed that it will carry the HTC Sensation.

The sensational smartphone is currently a Vodafone exclusive, but Three tweeted that the handset will be available next month on its own network with unlimited data (subject to throttling for heavy usage).

The company said: “The Sensation won’t be with us till June.” No pricing or other details were revealed at this stage.

The Sensation is a dual-core 1.2GHz powered Gingerbread smartphone with a 4.3 inch display, and an 8 megapixel camera which does full 1080p recording (with a dual LED flash). There’s a front-facing camera for video chatting, too.

The 16:9 widescreen (960 x 540 resolution) display can be used to view streaming movies from the HTC Watch service on board, plus the handset has a port to stream them out to your HDTV.

Vodafone has pitched the free Sensation on a £35 per month two year contract.
