PC chart dominated by The Sims

The Sims 3 and Sims: Medieval dominate the world of PC gaming

The Sims series from EA has yet again managed to dominate the PC sales chart this week, as titles from the franchise make up four of the top ten games.

The Sims 3: Generations, the most recent expansion for the pixel people’s third outing, took the top spot once again after its release earlier last month.

The Sims 3 itself was in third place, The Sims: Medieval behind that and The Sims 3: Late Night, an expansion pack released last year, was in fifth position.

Football simulation Football Manager 2011, however, was able to insert itself between the ever popular Sims games, coming in second place despite being released last November.

The chart is dominated by simulation and strategy games this week, with the previously mentioned titles being joined by the likes of Starcraft 2 and Civilization V.

World of Warcraft expansion pack Cataclysm, the third game in the Fable franchise and Shogun 2 made up the rest of the list.
