Nintendo has announced details of the London showing of the Legend of Zelda 25th anniversary symphony concert tour.

The event will take place on October 25th at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in celebration of the historic video game series.

Tickets will be available to purchase from Ticketmaster from 8th August, with prices starting at £33.75.

The showing is currently the only one that’s planned for Europe, although dates are set for both North America and Japan.

The producers of PLAY: A Video Game Symphony, Jason Michael Paul, Inc., will be the masters behind the orchestra.

Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR for Nintendo of Europe, expressed his enthusiasm for the concerts: “The Legend of Zelda series is famous for its beautiful music and we are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of memorable soundtracks from this iconic series by letting a symphony orchestra bring this music to life.”

“The symphony orchestra concert in London will allow fans from across Europe to come together and show their love for all things Zelda while enjoying a truly unique performance & experience.”

As well as the concerts, two CD releases are also being planned by Nintendo; the Ocarina of Time Original Soundtrack and a 25th anniversary CD.
