UK retailer GAME has announced that gamers will be able to get first-hand on experience of Modern Warfare 3 at this year’s GAMEfest.
The three-quel to 2009’s highly popular Modern Warfare 2, and the newest Call of Duty title since Black Ops last year, will be released this November in the UK.
But those who attend this year’s GAMEfest will be eligible for a preview of the game before it is officially released, GAME confirmed today.
The video game convention will run from September 16th to the 18th at the Birmingham NEC, with the hosts promising fans that they will “play the most anticipated titles of the year before anyone else.”
Anyone wishing to attend can still purchase tickets from GAME’s official website; prices are set at £10 for ages 12 and over and £5 for anyone under the age of 12.
However, those wishing to buy tickets must own a GAME reward card, available at any of the retailer’s stores around the UK or online.
Anna-Marie Mason, marketing director at GAME expressed her happiness at the news: “We are delighted that GAMEfest attendees can be the first consumers in the UK to have the opportunity to get hands-on with Modern Warfare 3 before it releases to the world.”
