Zumba Fitness has remained at the top of the all-format UK game chart (as compiled by Chart Track) for the ninth week running.
It has now been at the top for twelve weeks in total this year, although once again this week it wasn’t challenged by any big new releases.
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean moved up to number two thanks to price promotions, and was followed by Cars 2, and then Dirt 3. FIFA 11 found itself at number five, still selling strongly.
When it came to the individual charts, Codemasters’ Dirt 3 has once again topped both the PS3 and Xbox 360 charts, with The Sims yet again dominating the PC charts.
Due to the aforementioned lack of activity on the new release front this was no real surprise, but there were a couple of unexpected rises in the charts.
FIFA 11 jumped up two spots to take the number two position in the Xbox 360 charts, whilst it was left to settle for 8th in the PS3 table.
The other popular Xbox titles included Call of Juarez: The Cartel, Pirates of the Caribbean and LA Noire which made up the rest of the top five.
Zumba Fitness, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Brink, Skate 3 and UFC Fitness Trainer also made the top ten this week.
In the PS3 charts, the top five also contained LA Noire and Call of Juarez, which came second and third respectively.
InFamous 2, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, FIFA 11, Red Dead Redemption and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 completed the top ten.
EA was doubtless pleased to see that its Sims series had four different titles in the PC chart again.
