Nintendo has released yet another video showing footage from the upcoming Zelda Skyward Sword game, in which a weapons upgrade system is revealed.

The video shows the main character Link in various situations, such as moving a log and fighting enemies, after which he is presented with a random item.

Items shown in the video are an Amber Relic, an Ornamental Skull and a Jelly Blob.

Also featured is the ability to transport yourself into the sky at just the click of a button, which Link demonstrates in order to enter a shop where he can use the above items to purchase upgrades.

The scrap shop in Link’s home town will offer to either upgrade specific weapons and items, or fix your shield – in this video the shield is seen being upgraded.

Despite needing these unique items, you will still have to pay the guy behind the counter with regular rupees in order to acquire his services.

The footage was released after a video of Zelda gameplay was shown at the Nintendo 3DS Conference held a few days ago.

A few forthcoming Zelda titles were displayed at the event but it was Skyward Sword that was the focus of the guys at Nintendo.

Skyward Sword is due out on the Wii on November 20th.
