The LG Optimus L7 will be available to purchase in the UK very soon.
LG says that the smartphone will be arriving on shelves this week, in fact. Currently, Phones 4U has the handset up on its coming soon page (with an exclusive on the white version of the handset).
The Optimus L7 is a budget conscious Android offering, which boasts a 4.3in WVGA display, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The phone’s other specs include a 1GHz processor (single core), 2.7GB of memory (with support for up to 32GB extra via microSD), and a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash. There’s also a front-facing VGA camera.
A 1700mAh battery is on board, and the phone is a slimline affair, at just 8.7mm thick (or should that be thin?).
For the money, that’s a pretty decent spec, although the Optimus L7 has, of course, rather been overshadowed by the launch of that Android giant, the Galaxy S III, at the end of last week.
Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile, commented: “For consumers desiring high-end style and sophistication in a smartphone, LG Optimus L7 offers beauty and performance in one smart package. The L7 is a significant addition to our L-Series portfolio and we are confident that it’ll prove highly attractive to users. We expect it to be one of our most popular smartphones.”
