Sleeping Dogs

Sleeping Dogs is lying once again at the top of the UK all-format game chart, its sales being upped by almost 10 per cent, ensuring the retention of the number one spot.

That makes it four weeks in total at number one for the Square Enix game, and it fended off a strong challenge this week from Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which was a new entry at number two.

The Tekken sequel has been a long time coming, given that the original Tag Tournament was released back in the year 2000, when the PS2 held court.

Lego Batman 2 saw sales boosted by a third, moving it up to number three, with New Super Mario Bros 2 being pushed down to number four.

London 2012: The Official Video Game is still at number five, and selling reasonably well, better than the The Sims 3: Supernatural expansion pack, which slipped four places down to number six.

Guild Wars 2 fell another place to number seven, and the rest of the top ten was rounded out by Dead Island GOTY Edition, NHL 13, and Max Payne 3. Yes, a price cut saw the latter whizz up from number forty-eight all the way to number ten, with its sales more than doubling.

Battlefield 3 Premium only managed to hit the number thirty-six spot for EA.
