Samsung has announced that its Galaxy S III Mini handset will be on sale in the UK come next week.
In fact, the more compact version of the hugely popular S III smartphone will be available to buy next Thursday.
If you want to bag the device sim-free, it’ll cost you around the £300 mark, with the exact price dependent on exactly which online retailer you choose to go with.
It comes in either blue or white, but note that according to retailer Clove, it will only have the white handsets next week – the blue stock won’t arrive until towards the end of November.
Simon Stanford, Vice President, Telecommunications & Networks Division, Samsung UK and Ireland, said of the device: “The award winning Galaxy S III has been extremely well received globally since it launched earlier this year so we are thrilled to be able to offer our customers the same revolutionary design, intuitive usability and intelligence in a mini version.”
“We will continue to develop smartphones to cater for a variety of customer needs and this latest release demonstrates our on-going commitment to offering our customers more choice at every price point.”
The S III Mini boasts a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.
It’s powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU, and has twin cameras, a VGA front-facer, and 5-megapixel camera on the rear with auto-focus and LED flash. The base model has 8GB of storage (with a microSD slot to increase that by 32GB).
