That’s definitely good news for Note 10.1 users, as between the two measures, that will be a lot of added functionality and extra goodies.
So what can you expect? For starters, there’s multi-window support (for up to 16 apps), and a dual view which allows for split-screen viewing of two apps. Then there’s Air View, which pops up a preview of content from emails to videos.
Plenty of tweaks have been made to the S Pen’s functionality, such as the addition of easy clip, to allow for easy cutting and pasting of images from websites or other sources (using the pen) and then sending via email or other means.
There’s also a new app which allows you to create your own notebook, adding text and images (and adorning the latter with special effects).
Another app, Paper Artist, allows you to open photos in it, whereby the app converts them to a sketch, and you can go about colouring them in, or applying template effects.
For further photo editing, PhotoShop Touch is also on board, a pretty smart extra. So there’s certainly plenty to look forward to for Note 10.1 owners – and hopefully these goodies will be delivered pretty soon, although an exact date hasn’t yet been specified.
