Sony’s Xperia Tablet S is now back on sale in the UK, following its recent withdrawal from the shelves.
You might remember that the slate was pulled last month after Sony found that there was a manufacturing defect with the device, specifically a gap between the display and case which made the Tablet S less than splash-proof.
However, all that has apparently been cleared up, with the Tablet S now up for sale on Sony’s website.
All except for the 32GB Wi-Fi model, mind you, which is marked as out of stock.
You can grab the 16GB Wi-Fi version for £329, the 64GB model for £449, and the 3G version with 16GB of storage for £429.
The Tablet S is powered by a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 CPU, and has a 9.4 inch 1280 x 800 display. It runs Android Jelly Bean, and it also functions as a universal remote. However, given competition from the likes of the new Nexus 10, not to mention the iPad, Sony is on somewhat shaky ground.
