HTC will push its new flagship Android phone out in the first quarter of next year, according to the latest piece of speculation.
Tech website HTC Source has the, erm, source – or rather multiple sources of this rumour – and they have been monitoring the component chain, and reckon HTC has large orders in so as to get the HTC M7 out in Q1 of 2013.
That would be quick to market indeed, and perhaps the real point is that it would beat the Galaxy S4 to the punch (the Galaxy S3 once again being an all-conquering device, this year).
Apparently the M7 smartphone is rumoured to be packing a 5 inch HD display, Qualcomm quad-core CPU, and a 13-megapixel camera no less. It will utilise a unibody design, so you can bet it will be a slim and svelte affair, too.
Has your interest been piqued? Well, you might only have a few months to wait before the HTC M7 is on the shelves – but remember, as ever, this is just a rumour, and the handset could get held up (which might force HTC to rename it the M25… ha, ha).
At any rate, the Galaxy S4 might win this race yet.
