try going in to the tv channel list and see if the channels that you are loosing are repeated up in the 800s
im in nottingham round hear we are on the waltham transmitter but for some reason when you do a auto tune itv on channel 3 isnt central itv from waltham its yorkshire itv central itv is up in the 800s for some reason so most tvs hear you are better doing a manual tune then they end up in the right place

ive evan had people whos aerial ive just fitted saying that the aerial is no good the channels are breaking up its all down to the tvs storing the channels in the wrong places
