Default Samsung UE46ES6710 German model with UK Freeview

Hi all, I have a strange problem. I own a Samsung UE46ES6710, and it's working great. However, the particular model I have is a German model. The only difference I can find is when I try to set up Freeview, I have to select a country, and UK is not an option. I have options ranging from Bulgaria, to Greece, to Ukraine and a dozen or so other options (including 'Other'), but no UK.

The end result is that the channels show up in completely wrong order, a lot of channels are duplicated, and generally every time there's an update to Freeview I have to copy the channel list, manually edit it, and reinstall it.

After talking with Samsung support, I believe it is possible to "reflash" the tv, as they pointed me to an authorised service center to do so. Does anyone know what that process is, and if I can do it myself? If I can't are there any settings I can configure that'll let me scan and store Freeview normally?

To note, I have tried restoring to Factory defaults, and upgrading the firmware via usb by downloading it from samsung's uk website.
