Hi acepeovski, it is important to delete previous versions of drivers before trying to install the new drivers. XP always thinks it knows best and installs the wrong drivers unless it is closely controlled.

I have finally ditched XP from my multiboot system after installing SP3 and getting more problems. I am now running Vista SP1 and everything is working beautifully. My Skystar 2 card with Altdvb is running really well including the BBC HD channel.

Hi Jim, this is slightly off topic, but did you find that the SP1 for Vista worked OK, because I have not installed it yet. I did ask in the local PC shop and they said that it was OK but I was not sure. I shall have to go get it D/L at the shop, though I did ask him if he did not have any on a CD, he said he might get the techie to do a few, so I might get the disk from him.

Very best regards Wez

Yes SP1 seems to have cured a lot of problems on Vista and I haven't found any new problems.
