Anthony Rose, Head of Digital Media Technology at the BBC will talk about career progression, the process of overcoming engineering problems, and a technical overview of the BBC iPlayer.
With more than 17 million requests to download or stream BBC content in March 2008, the iPlayer is undoubtedly changing the way the UK audience is viewing television content. The talk will cover how future releases of the iPlayer might further change our viewing habits, and the challenges to be overcome on the way.
