hi please can someone help me. i have connected my modem to my computer with a rs232 and ive run the program hyper terminal, after running the program it says on the bottom (disable console output). can you tell me what this means. thanks

Are you sure thats what it says or does it say "Console disabled by vendor" ??
It sounds like the modem is locked up on the latest revision in which case theres nothing you can do with it im afraid,

what modem is it? if its a a200 tftp a new image to it (you can look it up, use solar winds another tftp server prog). if its a a250 or 255 then the only option is to re-flash the 29lv chip using a programer (willem ect) and taking the chip off the board (heavy soldering job).
