Default Need help installing Fibercoax to a usa modem

I i have a 4200 modem it come from the usa so it need to be set to European Pal I/B/G but i cant get the fibercoax to work so i can change the setting

Can anyone help me !!

what do you mean you cant get "fibercoax"to work as in whats not working abit more info is good mate

sorry i mean i cant flash it to my modem

do i need to set up a ftp server to flash the firmware and be online?
and do i flash it with net-boot

install bootloader you should then get solid green power light blackcat v9f4 write 2meg script install bootloader again you will then see solid green power light and flashing recieve light your us 4200 is now net bootable now use beta 1.7 beta crk not the universal version it will the give you your frequency plan euro docsis thats it m8 once 1.7 is installed watt i find is it is then not net bootable but can always boot 1.5 crk on the E version hope that helps good luck

If netboot won't work, then you may need to solder a RS232/MAX232 interface to the modem to do the cable flash method - or use the JTAG/Blackcat method detailed above

Just finshed soldering the JTAG interface now
got to learn how to use it tho as never done it this way

when you write the 2 meg script sometimes you will see rewriting block 15 could rewite 4/5 times dont worry it will give you an option just carry on

Ive installed the bootloader got the solid green power light on
Flashed SB4200-FIBERWARE-V9F4.HEX (
its showing up F/W SB4200-0.4.4.0-SCMO6-NOSH when i click check F/W in blackcat is this right?
Still only got 1 light on

also need help with doing the script file
