Hi spotted this the other day very easy to fabricate it onto any polar mount, obviously it would move any size dish with no backlash, 12V :) very easy to control it via STB with a little modification :),

I have a few projects on the go at the moment i will do this mod in the near future.

How accurate would it be though, does it monitor position or is it just up/down

Hi Ian it can be made to be as accurate as anything out there using the correct leadscrew, i can fabricate it to do both if need be but its main use will be tracking the arc,

depending on dish size the scissor action will have to be fabricated larger.

Watch and learn :D this is a easy fabrication job i will also make the polar mount to go with it :).

Someone here done the inclination mod.

Not if you use a stainless steel one ;) the jack will only be bought for the motor for my project everything else will be fabricated.

They will last a life time no weight on them compared to whats on a car and less use on a dish :).
